TOKENOMICS

Two currencies. One is earned in the world; the other is earned from the world.

GRIST & $GRIND

GRIST is the off-chain, in-game gold. You earn it from mob loot, bounties, contracts, vendor sales, the Wheel, and Pit prizes. You spend it on the Tithe, repairs, vendor goods, crafting fees, and the marketplace listing fee.

$GRIND is the on-chain SPL token on Solana. It is the access key, the marketplace currency, and the weekly payout.

The Access Gate

You must hold at least 1,000 $GRIND to enter, re-verified every 30 minutes. Drop below the line and the session ends gracefully with a buy prompt. The gate is read straight from the chain and fails closed.

Burn Mechanics

Every paid spin of the Miller's Wheel burns half of what you pay. The burn is recorded the instant the spin is granted and signed by the treasury; a crash can never skip it and can never burn twice. Burned $GRIND is gone for good.

The Payout Pool

At every Candlefall the Mill pays out from accrued treasury revenue only — the 5% marketplace fees, the 50% wheel share, and creator-fee deposits. The pool is capped at what the treasury can actually back. It is split:

If revenue is zero, the payout is zero. Nothing is ever minted or emitted unbacked. To be paid you must have held 1,000 $GRIND all week, kept an account older than seven days, and stayed clear of the bot heuristics.
